Ziggi's Chief Coffee Officer Contest Rules

Ziggi's Coffee Chief Coffee Officer Contest Official Rules (the "Official Rules")

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. Eligibility: The Chief Coffee Officer Contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Ziggi's Coffee, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members of such employees are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law.

2. Contest Period: The Contest begins on Monday, September 16th, 2024, at 08:00 AM MST and ends on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at 05:00 PM MST (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted after the Contest Period will not be accepted.

3. How to Enter: To enter the Contest, visit https://woobox.com/jw9zc6 during the Contest Period and submit an application, which shall include answering questions and submitting a 15-60 second video showcasing why you would be the ideal Chief Coffee Officer. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person but no purchase is necessary to enter.

4. Winner Selection: This is a contest of skill, and winners will not be selected by random drawing or chance. One (1) winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria and value:

Originality and creativity of the video submission: 50%
Enthusiasm and passion for Ziggi's Coffee: 25%
Clarity and impact of the written responses: 25%

A panel of judges selected by Ziggi's Coffee will evaluate all eligible entries based on the criteria outlined above. The decision of the judges is final.

5. Winner Notification: The selected winner will be notified via their email address provided in the application, at the time of entry, on or around Sunday, September 29th, 2024, and announced through Ziggi's social media channels. The winner must respond within two (2) business days of notification and failure to respond within this required time frame will result in forfeiture of the Prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Ziggi's Coffee is not responsible for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by a potential winner for any reason, including, but not limited to, email communication being marked as spam or junk, or technological malfunctions beyond Ziggi's Coffee’s control.

6. Prize: The winner of the Chief Coffee Officer Contest will receive the following:

A paid trip to the Dillanos Coffee Headquarters in Sumner, Washington, on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 - Thursday, October 17th, 2024, which includes round-trip airfare and accommodations (more exact details to be coordinated with the winner). The winner must be available and willing to travel during these dates. No alternative travel dates or plans will be made, except at the sole discretion of Ziggi's Coffee, and failure to travel during the specified dates will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Two Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100ths Dollars ($2,500.00), issued in the form of a check or similar method.
Free Ziggi's coffee for a year, provided as one (1) free 16oz coffee-based beverage per week for fifty-two (52) weeks through a Ziggi's Rewards Account. No cash equivalent will be given.

The above, collectively the “Prize”, the approximate retail value ("ARV") of which is Six Thousand and 00/100ths ($6,000.00). The winner must accept the prize in its entirety, and no portion of the prize can be exchanged, transferred, or subsitituted for cash or other forms of compenstation.

7. General Conditions: By entering, participants agree to:

Abide by these Official Rules.
Allow Ziggi's Coffee to use their name, likeness, and video submission for promotional and marketing purposes in any form of media without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Grant Ziggi's Coffee a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the video submission content for any marketing or promotional purposes.
Acknowledge that the title of "Chief Coffee Officer" is honorary in nature and does not imply or create an employment relationship with Ziggi's Coffee. The winner will receive the Prize outlined in Section 6 above and no additional compensation, benefits, or employment status will be provided beyond the Prize package. This is not a real job position, and no other employee benefits or opportunities will be offered.

8. Limitation of Liability: Ziggi's Coffee is not responsible for:

Any lost, late, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, or misdirected entries.
Any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctioning of any telephone, computer, network, hardware, or software, or the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service.
Any unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process.
Any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by technical or human error.
Any damage to an entrant's computer or device that may occur during participation in the Contest.

In the event of a technological failure or other unforeseen circumstance that disrupts the Contest, Ziggi's Coffee reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest and, at its discretion, select a winner from eligible entries received prior to the disruption.

9. Release: Prior to receipt, the winner of the Prize will grant Ziggi’s Coffee a Comprehensive Release of Claims and a Submission and Rights Declaration.

10. Taxes: All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

11. Disqualification: Ziggi's Coffee reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who submits multiple entries or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct. Incomplete or incorrect entries will not be eligible.

12. Governing Law: The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of other laws or principles.
